Quality and attention to detail runs in Cassidy’s blood. Just like his dad, his dad’s dad, and dad’s dad’s dad, Cassidy’s first specialty is as a professional finish carpenter. Some of his first memories are of learning to use a nail gun and he grew up with an appreciation for quality. His great grandfather came to America from Sweden and built his life through hard work and determination with an attention to detail. Just like his role models, Cassidy is meticulous with an attention to detail and lives by the idea of doing things right the first time.
After years of experience in woodworking, Cassidy decided to apprentice under a professional van builder to expand his skill set and knowledge. Two years of apprenticeship have given him the connections and knowledge to solve any problems that might arise with any van. He works closely with an experienced marine electrician and has proficient experience in electrical systems, installations, and design.
Above all, Cassidy understands the beauty and challenges of small moving spaces. He’s lived between tiny homes and vans for 10 years and has an acute understanding of exactly how to make a van feel like a home away from home. His natural curiosity and adventurous spirit meant that the places he wanted to explore were often off the grid. He wanted to explore, but have the comfort of home follow him everywhere he went. Living and traveling in his own vans and seeing what a great tool a functional van can be to experience the outdoors with loved ones, he enjoys sharing his expertise and hopes to help get others get started on their own adventures.
